Historian and former guest on New Dimensions, the late Howard Zinn, once said: “To live now as we think human beings should live, in defiance of all that is bad around us, is itself a marvelous victory.”
As a listener to New Dimensions I know you appreciate how these deep dialogues encourage us to live “in defiance” of what wants to depress us and bring us down. I’m not suggesting that we should put our heads in the sand and not be aware of the challenges of this post-modern era. I’m suggesting that we not let it stop us from making our own creative contribution to the positive good for all.
