In October we’ll be featuring William McDonough on our broadcast schedule. Architect, designer, and proponent of “cradle to cradle” designs, McDonough takes a deep look at how we make things. His motto is to live in beauty, health, and to thrive while having a good time. His primary question related to design is: “How can we best serve all the children of all species, for all time?” and his goal for the planet is: “We hope for a delightful, safe and healthy world with clean water and renewable power; economically, equitably, ecologically and elegantly enjoyed.”
McDonough does not subscribe to the idea of zero sum theory of economics. Rather, his innovative designs and positive vision for the future includes creating a safe and healthy prosperity for all. And that is what New Dimensions has been all about for over four decades.
