Rev. Barbara Leger was a vocational rehab intern with New Dimensions in San Francisco in the early 1980’s.
She writes: “I was with them in 1983 for the 10th anniversary dinner. Imagine what it was like to sit with Joseph Campbell on my right and Barbara Marx Hubbard across the table, and physicist and educator, Robert Fuller to the left of me. My world was rocked when I met Buckminster Fuller on my first day of work in 1980. I went on to join the board in the 1990’s and am again on the Advisory Group now. I call New Dimensions Radio ‘The Library of Consciousness’ and it is one of the most amazing organizations around.
AND…it can be a great resource for us ministers and teachers—I bet that 90% of all the books we read and use have been written by authors who have been NDR guests and 90% of the people we admire either have been or likely soon will be guests of Justine Toms as she continues the practice of rich, juicy conversations with the people who are moving us towards the future that works for everyone and the natural world and the planet itself.
The tagline which opens every 1-hour conversation has been the same since 1973 when Michael (now deceased) and Justine Toms founded New Dimensions Radio: ‘It is only through a change of consciousness that the world will be transformed.”
