It is my deep pleasure to bring programs out of our archive that are so deserving of being heard again. This is true of John Lane, a personal favorite interview of mine that Michael Toms conducted in 2008. In this deep dialogue John highlights the virtues and obstacles of becoming native to the place where we live. In our highly mobile society it is refreshing to pause and contemplate its topography and history. This deep dialogue serves as a model for how we might look at our own homes, terrain, and communities.
