In our busy, fast-paced lives, it can feel like we’re constantly juggling—keeping a roof over our heads, managing endless errands, and trying to stay balanced amid the noise of current affairs. In the midst of all this activity, taking time to sit in a circle with others can seem like a huge commitment. Yet, such gatherings offer something deeply restorative: a space for genuine listening that helps us move beyond feelings of fragmentation and isolation. Anne Scott has spent many years leading circles with women who are unhoused, marginalized, or in transition. Despite facing enormous challenges, these women come together to listen to one another and to themselves—and in doing so, rediscover their inner wisdom and a renewed sense of belonging. Through these circles, participants reconnect to the love, joy, and creativity that reside at the heart of our shared humanity.
