A Story about the importance of your support for the
legacy of the New Dimensions Program Archive
Today I had a conversation with a dear friend who had recently returned from an exquisite trip to Isla Mujeres off the Northern coast of Cancun. She was referred to a friend who lived there who became the guide around the island for her and her daughter. He was so happy to be able to talk with someone who was curious about his spiritual path. It turns out that it includes the revered and late Sufi mystic from Sri Lanka Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (d. 1986).
When my friend mentioned the name of his teacher, I remembered that years ago a special audio documentary was produced for New Dimensions by the esteemed documentarian David Freudberg.
I looked it up in our database to see if it had been digitized yet. It was not. I immediately contacted my teammate, Lou Judson, to see if he could digitize that program and get a summary transcript of the program so that I could write up a more detailed description.
