“I love this quotation. In the first part, there are a thousand ways to knell and kiss the ground, I feel very inspired by how Rumi poetically captures the spirit of gratitude and humility. For me it brings up gratitude for this human experience that I have been gifted with and all the blessings of living as a member of the species on this planet. There’s so much to appreciate in that. And then the second part, there are a thousand ways to go home again, reminds me of our divinity the home that we inhabit and the love that comprises us. There are so many ways to access that, and to express that, and to be profoundly humbled by that. These lines cover a lot of ground and covers the human experience. It also addresses the absolute experience of who we are in terms of our largest consciousness.
