Stan Dale, radio talk show host and founder of The Human Awareness Institute
“What I hear in that statement is the compassion for the whole. It is about being aware of when things are happening, even things we don’t like or approve of. He is telling us that beyond our reasons for not liking or approving of what someone is doing, there’s always a reason and that act is a cry for love. It deserves exploration, compassion, and understanding. That does not mean that it isn’t important that we be firm about things that aren’t okay; I think we do need to be firm. But I also believe we need to include everyone and treat everybody with respect. So that phrase for me really fosters that bigger picture.”
