As I watch with you the horror of the shocking and abhorrent invasion of Ukraine, I feel compelled to do something besides witnessing it unfold. For myself, I’ve given what I can out of my personal finances to CARE-Ukraine Crisis Fund which is giving aid and recovery, food, water, hygiene kits, psychosocial support, and cash assistance — prioritizing women and girls, families, and the elderly.
As I stay in touch with this most appalling news of a small nation being invaded and overpowered by a military of huge strength, I understand that I must take care of my own breaking heart so that I can stay active in contributing whatever I can within my own sphere of influence.
One of the ways that I do this is by sitting down with wisdom leaders in deep dialogues and then broadcasting those dialogues that keep hope alive.
