Product Description

Acknowledged as one of the greatest spiritual philosophers of this or any other age, the late J. Krishnamurti was a visionary whose ideas are still ahead of his time. New Dimensions host, Michael Toms, was fortunate to capture this philosopher’s penetrating wisdom in 1986, just a few years just before his death at the age of ninety. In this dialogue, he is enigmatic, uncompromising and profound, presenting us all with provocative ideas for human evolution. “The instrument of thought, which has produced this world that does not work properly, is no longer valid. So perhaps this instrument of thought is worn out.  Is there another instrument we can use?” Discover the key to revealing new ways of being, and how we can work together to create a better human race. (hosted by Michael Toms)

Bio

J. Krishnamurti (1895-1986) is regarded as one of the foremost thinkers and religious teachers of all time. However, he did not expound any philosophy or religion. He spoke about the problems of living in modern society with its violence and corruption, of the individual’s search for security and happiness, and the need for mankind to free itself from inner burdens of fear, anger, hurt, and sorrow. From 1929 until his death in 1986 he traveled all over the world speaking spontaneously to large audiences. He engaged in dialogues with religious leaders, scientists, professors, authors, psychologists, computer experts, and people from many different backgrounds deeply questioning their daily life. His talks and dialogues have been compiled and published in more than fifty books and translated into as many different languages. There have been many books published based on his lectures, dialogues and presentations.
