Ending The Cycle Of Inherited Family Trauma with Mark Wolynn

POSTED July 20, 2016 IN
Interviews

Inherited family traumas may be at the core of our inability to succeed in life. Wolynn’s research has shown that unresolved traumatic events in our families can hinder how success flows to us and how well we are able to receive it. He has helped hundreds of people to discover their core language of fear, which can be the breadcrumbs that lead to healing childhood and family traumas. He says, “The emotionally charged words that we use, especially in our descriptions of the things that are wrong, leave a breadcrumb trail and, if you learn to follow it, it will take us back to childhood trauma and possibly to traumas in our family history.” Wolynn gives several compelling examples of clients who had an aversion but did not have a clue as to its origins. It turned out that it was something that happened in their family that was unknown to them. When uncovering the history of the trauma, healing took place. He mentions the work of Rachel Yehuda of Mount Sinai Medical in New York. Her research is providing an understanding of how the effects of stress and trauma can be transmitted biologically up to three generations.
